How we approach pooja mandir units
CNC jali, glass and brass detailing
CNC-cut jali panels, etched glass and brass bells give a mandir its character. Cut patterns are shared as a drawing first so you can choose Om, mandala, Ganesha or a custom design.
Storage for pooja items
Pull-out drawers keep agarbatti, oil, cotton wicks and books out of sight; a small door cabinet holds festival items.
Direction and placement
Many families prefer the pooja unit in the north-east, with worshippers facing east or north. We check direction with you at the site and explain what is possible within your layout; our Vastu article explains the common rules.
Wall-hung, floor-standing or walk-in
A wall-hung mandir saves floor space, a floor-standing cabinet gives drawers for samagri, and a small walk-in pooja room suits larger homes. Height of the deity platform is set for comfortable seated prayer.
What affects the price
Size and design
Wall-hung units cost less than full floor-standing mandirs with drawers.
CNC work
Detailed jali patterns take machine and finishing time.
Material
Laminate, veneer or solid wood detailing differ in cost.
Lighting and glass
Etched glass and backlighting add to the price.

Pooja Mandir Units FAQs
What is the best Vastu direction for a pooja unit?
According to Vastu Shastra, the North-East (Ishanya) corner of the home is the most auspicious direction for placing your pooja mandir. If unavailable, East or North facing are also favorable orientations.
Is a pooja unit allowed in a bedroom or kitchen?
Many families avoid these; we explain options and let you decide, since beliefs and layouts differ.
Can lamps be lit inside the unit?
Use a metal or stone tray and keep the flame clear of laminates and fabrics; we plan a safe niche.
