View Island Specifications →How to choose a kitchen layout
The right layout depends on the room's shape and how many people cook at once. Straight kitchens suit narrow rooms; L-shaped layouts use two walls and are the most common in flats; parallel kitchens give two work lines for a busy cook; U-shaped kitchens give the most counter and storage; island layouts need generous floor space for clear walkways.
Measure before you decide
Note wall lengths, window and door positions, and where the sink drain, gas line and chimney duct already are. Moving these costs more than any cabinet upgrade. Send us a photo and measurements on WhatsApp and we will suggest a layout.
