How we approach walk-in wardrobes
Using the full height with lofts
A loft above 7 feet holds quilts, suitcases and seasonal items. Loft doors can match the wardrobe or be a quieter tone so the main wall looks lighter.
Finishes that survive humidity
In Ranipet and Vellore the monsoon is damp, so we recommend sealed edges and BWP plywood in wardrobes along external walls where condensation is likely.
Interior planning beats door styling
A wardrobe is judged by its interior. Hanging heights for long and short clothes, shelves for folded stacks, shallow drawers for accessories and a locker are decided with you before the exterior is finished.
Mirrors, glass and lighting
A full-length mirror door saves a separate mirror; tinted glass profile doors lighten the look; sensor LEDs inside help you find clothes without opening every door.
What affects the price
Size and height
A floor-to-ceiling wall with a loft uses more board than a standalone unit.
Door type
Sliding with aluminium tracks, glass profile doors and mirrors cost more than plain hinged doors.
Interior fittings
Drawers, lockers, pull-out trouser racks and lighting increase the price.
Finish
Gloss acrylic or PU costs more than matte laminate.

How much space is needed for a walk-in wardrobe?
A functional walk-in closet requires a dedicated room or alcove of at least 7 ft x 6 ft to allow dual-side storage cabinets and comfortable walkway movement.
Sliding or hinged: which is better for my room?
Sliding suits narrow rooms and tight bed-to-wardrobe gaps; hinged suits rooms where you want to see the whole interior at once.
How tall should a loft be?
A loft normally starts at about 7 feet. We keep it for light, seldom-used items and add a step stool or a pull-down mechanism if you want easier access.
